Welcome to Swim 'N Run Muskegon, presented by Mercy Health
Heritage Landing, Muskegon's crown jewel special event park, is the site of this event designed for experienced AND beginner individuals AND relay teams. This is your opportunity to race your swim and after, see how fast you can run with fresh legs. Mark your calendar for July 27 and participate in the inaugural Swim 'n Run Muskegon. Heritage Landing provides a wonderful venue for entering and exiting Muskegon Lake. It provides an ample area for transition along with the start and finish area of the run. You'll enjoy a large park for the post race picnic for athletes and volunteers. After swimming a clockwise triangular swim course, you'll enjoy a scenic, out and back, flat and fast run, unencumbered by vehicular traffic on the bike path going along Shoreline Drive. You'll be greated at the finish line with an ice cold "Finisher" towel and "Finisher" medal. Our friends from Fricano's Pizza will provide pizza for your post race picnic. All participants (and volunteers) will receive a short sleeve "Dri - Fit" material shirt. There will be awards at the event including, overall, age group and relay teams.
Swim 'N Run Muskegon is also proud to be part of the West Michigan Triathlon Series. There is no cost to sign up and participate in the series. We also offer a discount to the entry fee for series' participants. For more information on the series and to participate, please click on their logo, below:
The 325 foot passenger cruise ship, Pearl Mist, will be in port on race morning. Arrive to the event a little early to watch it dock and then enjoy swimming around the ship and have your picture taken exiting the swim with the ship in the background. We sincerely appreciate Visit Muskegon and The Lakeshore Sports Commission for helping coordinate the logistics to make this happen.
